# Finance

> Fund wallets, transfer and swap assets, earn yield, and sponsor transaction fees.

Choose a flow by what should happen to the funds. Wallet permissions and
application-owned signing still apply to operations that move assets.

## Choose a flow

| Goal | Guide | What to expect |
| :- | :- | :- |
| Buy crypto with fiat or sell crypto for fiat | [Ramp](https://build.onswig.com/developer-sdk/ramp.md) | Discover supported routes, request a quote, create an order, and follow its status |
| Send SOL or tokens | [Transfers](https://build.onswig.com/developer-sdk/transfers-and-swaps.md) | Prepare a transfer for an authorized wallet role to sign |
| Exchange assets or combine operations | [Swaps](https://build.onswig.com/developer-sdk/swaps-and-batches.md) | Prepare a swap or grouped wallet operations |
| Stake SOL and manage the position | [Yield](https://build.onswig.com/developer-sdk/yield.md) | Choose a validator, deposit, deactivate, and withdraw when the stake is available |
| Pay transaction fees for users | [Paymaster](https://build.onswig.com/examples/dev-portal/paymaster-overview.md) | Fund a paymaster, configure limits, and sponsor application-signed transactions |
| Pay for an HTTP resource | [x402 payments](https://build.onswig.com/developer-sdk/x402.md) | Read a payment requirement, prepare and sign a payment, then retry the resource request |

## Understand the costs

* **Hosted API usage:** metered requests share your organization's allowance.
  See [pricing and quotas](https://build.onswig.com/query.md#pricing-and-included-usage).
* **Transaction fees:** the transaction's fee payer or paymaster funds chain
execution. Keep the paymaster funded for the network you use.
* **Ramp and swap quotes:** inspect amounts, provider fees, and slippage in the
  selected flow before collecting authorization.
* **Staking:** validator rates and reward estimates are estimates. Native stake
activation and deactivation affect when funds can earn rewards or be withdrawn.

## Track the result

Use the identifier returned by each flow to follow its outcome. A submitted
transaction needs chain confirmation; a ramp order has its own status lifecycle.

* Check [wallet balances](https://build.onswig.com/query/balances.md) and [token movements](https://build.onswig.com/query/wallets).
* Inspect [DEX activity](https://build.onswig.com/query/dex.md) and [yield positions and rewards](https://build.onswig.com/query/yield.md).
* Follow [ramp orders](https://build.onswig.com/query/ramp.md) and monitor [paymaster balances](https://build.onswig.com/query/paymasters.md).

Indexed query results can lag chain state. Use the freshness signals described
by each query guide when showing results to users.
